Walnuts, grape molasses, flour, and water are typically used to make walnut sausage. The traditional method is to string walnuts and dip them in the grape molasses mixture before drying them. Occasionally, honey or mulberry molasses can be used instead. Storing walnut sausage properly is also crucial.
